Summit Strategy Group Recruits Scott Kronick as Senior Advisor to Expand Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and Asia-Pacific Practice

LOS ALTOS, Calif., August [XX], 2025 — Summit Strategy Group, a California-based consultancy specializing in public affairs, corporate communications, sustainability, and corporate responsibility, announced today that veteran communications leader Scott Kronick has joined the firm as Senior Advisor.

Kronick will bolster Summit’s capabilities in helping clients address complex reputational issues and cross-border challenges. Kronick was instrumental in building Ogilvy Public Relations’ China business, leading its expansion into one of the most dynamic communications markets in the world.  His experience will strengthen Summit’s ability to support organizations navigating business, policy, and public perception issues across the Pacific, including the increasingly complex U.S.–China relationship.

With more than three decades of experience advising multinational corporations, government entities, and nonprofits, Kronick has built a reputation for guiding organizations through market entry, corporate reputation, and high-profile international events. Based in Beijing for over 25 years, he has worked with clients navigating some of the most dynamic markets in the world. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to counsel organizations on emerging cross-border issues and opportunities.

“Scott and I have worked together for many years, and I have always admired his judgment, creativity, and leadership,” said Michael Law, founder and CEO of Summit Strategy Group. “His addition significantly strengthens our ability to help clients manage reputational risk and seize opportunity across the Pacific at a time when business strategy and public perception are inseparable.”

Kronick currently serves as Chair of the Page Society China, teaches as an adjunct professor at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and chairs the Advisory Board for the USC US–China Institute. Over the course of his career, he has counseled organizations ranging from the Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee to leading multinational corporations.

“Joining Summit is an opportunity to apply my international experience to help clients succeed in today’s most dynamic and complex markets,” said Kronick. “I am excited to collaborate again with Michael and the Summit team to help organizations chart their next chapter on both sides of the Pacific.”
