Here at Summit, we call our internship program Base Camp as this is the starting point from which all mountaineering expeditions set out. Our program aims to help you climb mountains in your personal and professional development. Our team will give you the gear you need, guide you through new territory, and we will work together to reach higher and higher peaks.
Public Affairs
Public Affairs Interns at Summit Strategy Group will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with a variety of client work, including:

You will work closely with top professionals in the industry, have opportunities to participate in client-facing meetings and projects, and will be treated as a full member of the Summit team.

DEI Fellowship
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Fellows at Summit Strategy Group will be able to explore DEI practices as it relates to Public Affairs. Fellows will get hands-on experience with a variety of client and DEI-based work, including:

Summit DEI Fellows will work closely with top professionals in the Public Affairs industry and have opportunities to participate in client-facing meetings and projects, cultivate relationships within the Sacramento community, and be part of the Summit team. Importantly, Summit DEI Fellows will conduct DEI-related research to help our firm and clients grow.
We want to speak with you if you're interested in challenging working, expanding your skillset, and gaining real-world experience and skills. This position is a six-month paid Fellowship with the opportunity for extension or full-time salaried positions.
ESG
ESG Interns at Summit Strategy Group will have the opportunity to jump in as an ESG Analyst, with exposure to a wide variety of companies, industries and client work, including:
