WHERE
Sacramento Ukrainian Refugee Crisis & Response Panel
It’s been nearly two months since Russia invaded Ukraine, upending millions of lives and causing a humanitarian crisis with implications across the globe. Since February 24, more than 11 million Ukrainian refugees have fled their homes in hopes of finding safety. At least 30,000 refugees have come to the U.S. seeking shelter and resources.
Right now, there are organizations and grassroots volunteers working to swiftly stand-up refugee response networks and provide emergency essentials for refugees, including bedding, food and water. But this is just the beginning of the crisis.
House of Bread Church, World Relief and CA Sacramento Chaplain Mindi Russel are coming together to discuss the needs and challenges facing the Ukrainian refugee response in the Sacramento region. Sacramento is home to one of the largest Ukrainian immigrant populations and is uniquely positioned to help respond to this crisis. We hope you will join us in discussing the collaboration and resources needed to address this humanitarian crisis.

Panel will be followed by a Q&A. Recording will be available online shortly after the panel.
