Public Advocacy and Coalitions

Tricia Aarts Law has broad expertise in political advocacy, ally development and regulatory affairs, with a focus on transportation and environmental infrastructure, working in both the private sector and the United States Congress.

As a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee under the leadership of Chairman Bud Shuster, Tricia built and maintained political alliances with public-sector organizations, trade associations and individuals to leverage support for the committee's key legislative initiatives.

In the private sector, Tricia directed congressional and federal agency relations for aviation and aerospace clients seeking to enter new markets, certify or gain industry acceptance for new technologies, and obtain federal R&D support or airworthiness certificates. She also worked for several years at Fleishman-Hillard and Burson-Marsteller public affairs representing transportation and technology clients.

 

She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Political Science.
