Sheila Pippin is an Assistant Account Executive, focusing on media relations, grassroots organizing campaigns, research development and community engagement. Prior to Summit, Sheila received her bachelor’s degree in English from Occidental College in Los Angeles. After starting her comedy career back in high school in Seattle, Sheila was an active member and president of her college’s improv team as well as a barista at Occidental’s on-campus coffee shop. During her time in school, Sheila interned for two award-winning documentaries and a non-profit that works in case management for youth and families. Most recently, Sheila worked as an Editorial Intern for Flaunt, a satirical fashion magazine based in Hollywood. Her in-print and online work covered fashion, culture, and food.

 

 In her free time, Sheila loves to cook, explore new restaurants, read and go to comedy shows around Los Angeles.
