We are delighted to welcome the newest member to Summit Strategy Group, Kayleen Carter!
Kayleen joins us as Summit's first ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion fellow and will be assisting the firm in internal and external DEI initiatives. Kayleen received a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Sacramento State University and has been utilizing her skills to help non-profit and small business organizations manage their brand identity, develop social media marketing strategies, and distribute authentic and targeted messaging to diverse audiences.
Before joining Summit, Kayleen pursued a career in journalism, acting as a Reporting fellow for CalMatters in collaboration with KQED to report on race, equity, and the experiences of students of color on college campuses. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and drawing.
