Communications Industry Leader and Business Strategist Erica Swerdlow Joins Summit Strategy Group as Managing Director
LOS ALTOS, Calif., June 14, 2023–– Summit Strategy Group, LLC, (Summit), a California-based national public affairs, corporate reputation and ESG consulting firm, today announced that Erica Swerdlow has joined the firm as a Managing Director to lead client development and growth initiatives. Swerdlow joins the firm with 30 years’ experience in communications consulting and building businesses. She has built and grown consulting companies from the ground up and successfully led operating units of established global firms. “When it comes to the energy, intellect and passion necessary to build and grow a professional services firm, Erica is in a class by herself,” said Summit Founder & CEO Michael Law. “She has launched and sold her own company, grown other firms from start-up stage and led business development operations for large, public companies. In 1993, Erica founded EBS Public Relations Inc., which served the high-tech industry and which was acquired by Omnicom in January 2000. She served as an Executive Vice President for a decade at Omnicon agency Porter Novelli and then joined Burson-Marsteller where she led the Midwest region and the firm’s business development operations. Swerdlow reported to Law when he was U.S. President and U.S. CEO at Burson-Marsteller (now BCW).
