Lara’s expertise lies in helping people come across as, well, people. She has worked with politicians of both parties, Fortune 100 executives, and clients large and small to develop authentic communications that inform, persuade, and motivate.

 

She has been a communications professional for more than 15 years, beginning her career as a reporter before being appointed press secretary by former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal. From the smallest state, she went on to the biggest, joining former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s senior staff as his special assistant for executive communications. Most recently, Lara advised the top leadership of Fortune 100 company 3M on internal and external communications from strategy to execution.

 

She and her family live in Northern California, where Lara sits on the board of the Davis Arts Center, a nonprofit dedicated to community engagement with the arts.
