Heidi joins the Summit team with over 25 years of experience in strategic communications with an expertise in project management for government and public affairs campaigns.

Heidi has overseen strategic and outreach plan development; virtual events and events on the ground; qualitative and quantitative research projects; creative development and web design projects; print, radio, digital and television production; and media planning and implementation. Her breadth of experience allows her to coordinate various campaign elements to ensure that all work cohesively – on time and on budget.

Prior to joining Summit, Heidi was with Media Solutions overseeing projects for the California Office of Problem Gambling and the California Department of Housing and Community Development. Prior to that, Heidi was with Ogilvy in Sacramento for 23 years, most recently as a Vice President of Account Services. Clients included California Child Support Services, California State Treasurer’s Office, Covered California, California Community Colleges, California Air Resources Board, California Earthquake Authority, California Office of Traffic Safety, and the California Department of Insurance, among many others.

 

Heidi is a native of Montana but has called California home for more than 30 years. She graduated with a dual degree in Psychology and English Literature from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She spends her free time hiking and designing/sewing costumes for a local theater while planning (and dreaming of) vacations off the beaten path.
